Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- A title should be provided concisely
- A brief autobiographical note should be supplied including:
- Full name (First, middle, last name)
- Affiliation
- E-mail address
- All authors must be registered in the metadata
Abstract maximum of 300 words, the abstract should consist at least; short background (voluntary), Purpose (mandatory), Design/methodology/approach (mandatory), Main findings (mandatory), Practical implications (if applicable), and Conclusions.
Abstract should be constructed in a single paragraph and exclusive of any literature review. Please provide minimum five and up to seven keywords which encapsulate the principal topics of the paper.
- Introduction. The introduction should consist at least the problem(s), state of the arts of the research, the gap between reality and theory or previous finding from other studies, and objective(s).
Materials and Methods. The procedure of the research should be prepared clearly, step by step of the work is mandatory. All equipment or materials used in the study should be defined and specifications should be provided. All formulas must be put the number
Results. Each Figure and Table should be supplied within the article itself. All Figures (charts, diagrams and line drawings) and Images (photographic images) should be of clear quality, in black and white and numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals. Figures created in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, Illustrator and Freehandshould be saved in their native formats.
Tables should be typed and included as part of the manuscript. They should not be submitted as graphic elements. Supply succinct and clear captions for all tables, figures and plates. Ensure that any superscripts or asterisks are shown next to the relevant items and have corresponding explanations displayed as footnotes to the table, figure or plate.
Discussion. Discussion should be made comprehensively with comparing to other relevant studies, limitation and new findings of the study, and their implication to science in general.
- Conclusion. The conclusion should be in line to the objective(s) and in the paragraph form, not a list of the number
- Acknowledgment: All contributions of the third parties can be acknowledged in this section.
References to other publications must be in Harvard style and carefully checked for completeness, accuracy, and consistency. Use any references manager. This is very important in an electronic environment because it enables your readers to exploit the Reference Linking facility on the database and link back to the works you have cited through CrossRef. At the end of the paper a reference list in alphabetical order should be supplied:
- For books: Surname, Initials. Year. Title of book, Publisher, Place of publication. e.g. Muchlisin, Z.A. (2010). Introduction to strategic development. IASD Publishing, New York. - For book chapters: Surname, Initials. Year. Chapter title, In: Editor’s Surname, Initials (Ed.), Title of book. Publisher, Place of publication, pages. e.g. Sugianto, M.H. 2009. Human resource development in Asia: A practical approach. In: Rizal, S. (Ed.), Enhancing people contribution in organization. Elsevier, New York, pp. 15-20.
- For journals: Surname, Initials. Year. Title of article. Full Journal Name, Volume (number/issue): pages. e.g. Muchlisin, Z.A., Furqan, M. and Muhammad, A.B. 2005. Conflict resolution in the twenty-first century in Indonesia. Journal of Conflic Resolution, 22(3): 72-80.
- For published conference proceedings: Surname, Initials. Year. Title of proceeding which may include place and date(s) held. Publisher, Place of publication, Page numbers. e.g. Nahar, A.F., Subhan, M. and Shabri, M. 2009. The role of ICT in tourism industry. In: Information and communication technologies in tourism 2009. Proceedings of the International Conference In Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 2009. Springer-Verlag, Singapore, pp. 12-32.
- For unpublished conference proceedings: Surname, Initials. Year. Title of paper. Paper presented at Name of Conference, date of conference, place of conference, available at: URL if freely available on the internet (accessed date). e.g. Mukhtar, D. 2004.
