DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING ACTIVITY SHEET FOR WRITING POETRY BASED ON NATIONALISM VALUES IN THE POETRY OF TRADITIONAL LAMPUNG SONGS FOR JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract

The principles and approaches to the development of education, culture, and national character emerge to form whole people as educational goals. This principle and approach aims to instill nationalism values among students. Writing is one of the language skills. Through writing one can convey what is in his mind. The poems of traditional Lampung songs created by Syaiful Anwar are full of nationalism values, especially those with the theme of custom and culture of Lampung. The values of nationalism instilled through the lyrics of these songs can shape the character of the students if properly interpreted. To achieve this goal, the author made worksheet (LKS) learning to write poetry based on the lyrics of traditional Lampung songs created by Syaiful Anwar that could raise the spirit of nationalism for VII class of junior high school students.
