GAMBARAN PERTUMBUHAN DAN PERKEMBANGAN BAYI RISIKO TINGGI SETELAH DIRAWAT DI NEONATAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT (NICU) RUMAH SAKIT IBU DAN ANAK PEMERINTAH ACEH

Abstract

Bayi yang telah memenuhi syarat untuk dipulangkan dari NICU diharapkan terus sehat dan memiliki tumbuh kembang yang baik.Namun, kenyataannya selama ini belum ada program yang berorientasi mengontrol tumbuh kembang neonatus pasca perawatan, sehingga belum tersedia data mengenai tumbuh kembang bayi yang pernah dirawat di NICU.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pertumbuhan dan perkembangan pada bayi risiko tinggi setelah dirawat di NICU Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak Pemerintah Aceh.Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif dengan desain penelitian cross sectional study.Populasinya seluruh seluruh bayi risiko tinggi yang pernah dirawat di ruang NICU Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak Pemerintah Aceh periode bulan Desember sampai dengan April 2019.Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah quota sampling, sebanyak 42 responden.Alat pengumpulan data berupa KPSP dan bahan-bahan yang dibutuhkan, alat ukur seperti meteran dan timbangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pertumbuhan panjang badan berada pada kategori normal (73,8%), berat badan pada kategori normal (85,7%), lingkar kepala pada kategori normal (92,9%), dan perkembangan berada pada kategori sesuai (36%). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, direkomendasikan bagi para tenaga kesehatan, khususnya perawat komunitas untuk dapat melakukan kunjungan balik pada bayi yang telah dipulangkan dari NICU sehingga dapat dipantau pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya.

ABSTRACT

A baby that meet certain conditions to be discharged from NICU is expected to continue being healthy and have a good growth development. Yet, in reality there hasn’t been a programoriented in controlling growth and development ofneonatus post-treatment, and it resulted in theunavailability of the data about the growth and development of infants that were treated in the NICU. The purpose of this research is to find out an overview of growth and development of infants with high risks after being treated in NICUof Mother and Children Hospital of Aceh Government. The type of this research is descriptive with cross-sectional study design. The population is all of the infants with high risk ever being treated in the NICU of Mother and Children Hospital of Aceh Government in the period of December 2018 until April 2019. The sampling technique in this research is quota sampling, with a total of 42 respondents. The data collection tools are in the form ofKPSP and needed materials, measurement tools such as rulers and scales. The results of this research show that the growth of the infants’ lengthsis in the normal category (73,8%), the body weightsin the normal category (85,7%), the circumferences of the heads in the normal category (92,9%), and developments are in the appropriate category (36%). Based on the results of the research, it is recommended for health workers, particularly the nurse community, to be able to do a visit to the infants that were discharged from the NICU so their growth and development can be monitored.
