TINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN IMUNISASI MEASLES RUBELLA (MR) PADA IBU DI BANDA ACEH

Abstract

Measles Rubella penyakit yang disebabkan oleh virus yang dapat mengakibatkan kematian. Sehingga membutuhkan tindakan efektif yaitu melalui pencegahan dengan imunisasi MR. Pengetahuan imunisasi MR sangat penting bagi ibu agar dapat memahami penyakit measles rubella dan menyadari pentingnya pencegahan dilakukan sedini mungkin pada anak. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi tingkatan pengetahuan imunisasi measles rubella pada ibu di Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian adalah descriptive dengan desain penelitian cross sectional study. Teknik pengumpulan sampel menggunakan accidental sampling atau convenience sampling dengan 87 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengetahuan imunisasi MR ibu berada pada kategori baik dengan jumlah responden 69 orang (79.3%). Diharapkan kepada seluruh petugas kesehatan agar senantiasa memberikan pendidikan kesehatan yang berkesinambungan dan menyeluruh  pada ibu, baik melibatkan kerjasama dalam bidang agama maupun sosiokultural sehingga dapat lebih meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu mengenai imunisasi MR.

ABSTRACT

Measles Rubella is a disease caused by the virus which causes death. As the result, the effective treatment is needed through the prevention by doing the measles rubella immunization. It is very important to the mother to understand and aware the measles rubella disease and its early prevention on the children. The aim of this research is to identify the knowledge level of the measles rubella immunization on mothers in Banda Aceh. This research is a descriptive research with a cross sectional study design. The technique of choosing sample used is the accidental sampling or convenience sampling with 87 respondents. The result of the research shows that the measles rubella immunization on mother was on good category with 69 respondents (79.3%). The entire health officers are expected to give comprehensive and sustainable health education to mothers both by involving the religious and sociocultural aspects to improve the mother’s knowledge about the measles rubella immunization.
