HUBUNGAN POLA ASUH ORANG TUA DENGAN PERILAKU SULIT MAKAN PADA ANAK USIA PRASEKOLAH DI PAUD AZ ZAHRA BANDA ACEH

Abstract


Preschool age children are children who experience psychological development into toddlers who are more independent, autonomous, can interact with their environment, and can express their emotions better. Parenting is how the attitudes or behavior of parents when interacting with children, including how to apply rules, teach values/norms, give attention and affection. This study aims to determine the relationship between parenting patterns and difficult eating behavior in preschool children at Az Zahra PAUD Banda Aceh. The type of this research is descriptive correlation approach cross sectional . This research was carried out at Early Childhood Education Az-Zahra Banda Aceh on 17 to 24  December 2021. The population in this study was 64 people and the research sample was 64 people. The sampling technique in this research is total sampling. Collecting data using primary data with measuring instruments in the form of a questionnaire using the Linkert scale and the Guttman scale. Univariate and bivariate analysis techniques. The results of the study there was no relationship between authoritarian parenting (p value 0.289) and permissive parenting (p = 1,000) with difficult eating behavior in children but there is a relationship between democratic parenting (p value =0.000) with difficult eating behavior in children. It is expected that parents are expected to apply good and correct parenting to their children to be more precise in regulating children's eating patterns.
