Focus and Scope

The journal is called JAMHS, and it is an international, open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Faculty of Medicine, Syiah Kuala University. JAMHS is published three times a year (in April, August, and December). The journal’s goal is to bridge and integrate medical science with academia’s intellectual, methodological, and substantive diversity. JAMHS encourages robust dialog between scholars, academic practitioners, and medicine, and it welcomes contributions that promote the exchange of ideas and rational discourse between medical educators, academics, and researchers worldwide.

Peer Review Process

JAMHS employs a double-blind review process, meaning that both the identities of the authors and reviewers are kept anonymous throughout the review process.  

Publication Frequency

Journal of Academic Health and Medical Sciences (JAMHS) is scheduled for publication three times a year, in April, August and December. 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
