Abstract


We are proud to present Volume 8, Number 1 (2025) of the Journal of Accounting Research, Organization and Economics (JAROE). This issue features ten peer-reviewed articles that demonstrate both the global nature and the evolving complexity of research in accounting, organization, and economics.
True to its mission, JAROE continues to promote cross-disciplinary and cross-cultural academic dialogue. This volume includes contributions from scholars in South Africa, Nigeria, Malaysia, Indonesia, and other ASEAN countries, with studies that reflect a shared concern for accountability, governance, financial performance, and digital transformation in both the public and private sectors.
