MODEL PEMILIHAN MODA TRANSPORTASI ONLINE DAN BUS TRANS KOETARADJA PADA RUTE DARUSSALAM – ULEE LHEUE

Abstract

The availability of a public transportation mode called the Trans Koetaradja Bus and online transportation gives travelers the option to choose the type of mode that is most suitable for use. Currently, people in Banda Aceh City are more likely to use online transportation, namely Go-Jek and Grab. Public interest in the Trans Koetaradja Bus seems low with a small number of passengers every day. Emergency dependence on online-based transportation modes has a negative impact on the urban transportation system such as congestion. The direct impact of congestion is the economic loss of the city area from the aspect of increasing travel time, increasing fuel consumption, and environmental losses. This study aims to determine the mode selection between Trans Koetaradja and online transportation corridor I and corridor II-B route Darussalam - Ulee Lheue, determine the probability of choosing Trans Koetaradja mode on corridor I and corridor II-B route Darussalam - Ulee Lheue, and determine the sensitivity of the model. if changes are made to one of the travel attributes on corridor I and corridor II-B route Darussalam - Ulee Lheue. This study uses a quantitative method approach through a questionnaire. The modes studied are mass public transportation or Trans Koetaradja Bus and online transportation (motorcycles). The formulation of traveler behavior in choosing modes is prepared using a stated preference technique in the form of a questionnaire which is analyzed using multiple linear regression to obtain a utility equation which is then substituted into the binomial logit function. Variables or attributes considered are travel costs (X₁), travel time (X₂) and walking time (X₃). From the results of statistical tests, it is known that the variables or attributes analyzed significantly affect the respondents in choosing the mode of transportation used.
