ANALISIS NERACA AIR UNTUK ALOKASI AIR IRIGASI PADA DAS KEDUNG LARANGAN PROVINSI JAWA TIMUR

Abstract


The fulfillment of irrigation water needs must take into consideration the available water resources. This is undertaken to avert conflicts that may arise among water users. The allocation of water can be accomplished through an analysis of the water balance, juxtaposing the available discharge with the required discharge. The outcomes of the water balance analysis can serve as a reference for water allocation. Within the Kedunglarangan Watershed (DAS), there exist six irrigation weirs, the current management of which has not yet reached an optimal state. This is attributable to the incomplete satisfaction of water requisites at each weir. Water balance analyzed by comparing water availability with water demand. Water availability analyzed using FJ Mock, while the main water demand is for irrigation. Water availability Hence, an analysis of the water balance at each specific weir location is imperative, serving as a guideline for water allocation within the DAS. Based on the results of the water balance analysis at each weir, outcomes indicate a persistent deficit condition throughout the year, particularly evident at the downstream weirs. The water balances of the Telebuk and Bekacak Weirs manifest deficit values for the majority of the year. This phenomenon is attributed to the downstream location of these two weirs within the Kedunglarangan Watershed. Consequently, optimization measures are requisite to attain an optimal water allocation.
