PEMROSESAN JUMLAH DAN JENIS KENDARAAN BERDASARKAN VIDEO IMAGES (STUDI KASUS: JLN. T. NYAK ARIEF JEULINGKE, KOTA BANDA ACEH)

Abstract


Transportation problems are currently getting more complicated and complex so it will be very difficult if you still rely on conventional management, so information technology applications are needed to help the traffic control process. One of them is the use of video cameras in monitoring and monitoring traffic on the road. This study aims to obtain a system to detect the number and type of vehicles using software Matlab Simulink based on video images. The data used in this study are traffic recording data on Jalan T. Nyak Arief, Jeulingke, Banda Aceh City. Data were collected on Saturday, June 20, 2020. Data analysis was carried out by two methods, namely by manual calculation and using software Matlab Simulink and the duration of the video input used for analysis between the two methods for 5 minutes. The results of analysis based on manual calculations obtained data on the number and types of vehicles as a whole amounted to 182 vehicles, where the number of light vehicles /Light Vehicle (LV) 60 vehicles, heavy vehicles /Heavy Vehicle (HV) 1 vehicle, and motorcycle /Motor Cycle (MC) 121 vehicles. While the results of the analysis based Software Matlab Simulink obtained data on the number and types of vehicles as a whole amounted to 170 vehicles where the number of light vehicles /Light Vehicle (LV) 65 vehicles, heavy vehicles /Heavy Vehicle (HV) 1 vehicle, and motorcycle /Motor Cycle (MC ) 104 vehicles. Based on the MAPE equation for the number of vehicles, the percentage level of accuracy between manual calculations using software Matlab Simulink for lane 1 is 99.03%, lane 2 is 98.18% and lane 3 is 99.30%. while the percentage obtained for the types of vehicles for light vehicles /Light Vehicle amounted to 99.25%, for heavy vehicles /Heavy Vehicle (HV) of 100%, and for motorcycle /Motor Cycle (MC) 98.49%. Based on the percentage results obtained, it can be concluded that the program created using the software Matlab Simulink can be used to measure the number and type of vehicles.
