Abstract

The Legok-Karawaci highway has a length of 8.8 km that connects the Lippo Karawaci area with Summarecon Serpong, Paramount Serpong and BSD (Bumi Serpong Damai). This road functions as a primary local road, and is categorized as a class III C road. Based on UU No. 38 of 2004 concerning local roads, class III C road is a public road that functions to serve local transportation with the characteristics of short distance travel, low average speed, and unlimited number of entrances, while the road segment is traversed by many heavy vehicles with overload loads. This causes the road to have a rate of decline that is faster than the design life that was determined at the beginning of planning. This study aims to determine the rate of decline in pavement life on the Legok - Karawaci highway, Tangerang Regency by assessing the remaining service life of the road using the 1993 AASTHO method, while the axle load analysis will use MDP 2017. The designed CESA plan is 2.129.641.358 for a period of 20 years while the actual condition is 3.306.170.722. There was an increase in CESA of 1.176.529.364. The increase in CESA value is influenced by the increase in traffic growth factors that occur in actual conditions. With this condition, the service life of the road is reduced. The pavement of Legok Kab.Tangerang road is experiencing a decrease in the design life due to traffic of passing vehicles so that there is an overload. The results of the RL (Remaining Life) calculation in actual conditions show that with actual traffic conditions, the road pavement cannot serve traffic for 20 years. Service life in actual conditions only reaches 16 years with a decrease in road service life on average for 20 years is 16.78%.
