ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI METODE PELAKSANAAN PEMBANGUNAN PROYEK KOTA BANDA ACEH (STUDI KASUS: PEMBANGUNAN GEDUNG KULIAH TERPADU UIN AR-RANIRY BANDA ACEH)

Abstract

The success of a project heavily depends on the various parties involved in its implementation process, such as the project owner, contractor, and supervising consultant. These three parties must maintain quality and quantity to ensure the planned project can be completed successfully. Contractors, as implementers, must have good management in organizing and coordinating their company as well as fieldwork. This is important to minimize risks that can directly impact the project's implementation methods during construction. This study aims to identify the factors influencing project implementation methods, particularly in the construction of the Integrated Lecture Building at UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. The benefits of this research are to provide information on the main factors affecting the implementation methods of constructing integrated lecture buildings using the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) method. The research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 50 respondents, including project owners, contractors, consultants, and project workers. Based on the factor analysis results using PCA, seven influential factors were identified. These factors are project management and contracts, with a variance percentage of 46.794%, natural conditions (8.640%), planning (7.215%), field operations (4.757%), schedule and time (4.172%), equipment and human resources (3.911%), and work methods (3.259%). Among these, project management and contracts are the most dominant factors, with eigenvalues of 17.782. The most influential indicator on the first factor is the lack of coordination between the supervising consultant and the contractor, with a factor loading value of 0.833. These factors are the results of transforming the initial correlated factors into new uncorrelated factors, producing a smaller dimension while explaining most of the variance of the original factors
