ANALISIS STABILITAS LERENG MENGGUNAKAN MSE WALL PADA KAWASAN PIKET NOL LUMAJANG

Abstract


A landslide occurred on the Piket Nol National Road in Lumajang at KM Turen 59. This disaster blocked access to the Piket Nol national road that connects Malang and Lumajang with landslide material, disrupting the activities of passing vehicles. To prevent further landslides, soil investigation and slope reinforcement planning using MSE wall were conducted.  Slope stability analysis was conducted using Bishop's method with the help of Geostudio Slope/W program. The results of the MSE wall design calculation obtained a wall height of 10 m, with a vertical distance between geogrids (sv) of 0.8 m at 4 meters and 1 m at 6 meters. The internal stability safety factor is obtained with the smallest pullout resistance stability of 14.435 and the smallest rupture resistance stability of 1.78. For external stability, the safety factor obtained overturning is 7.44, sliding is 3.39, bearing capacity is 3.35, and global stability of the slope is 1.532. The analysis shows that MSE wall is able to improve slope stability.
