The JAT covers research and development activities in the area of applied technology in the following scope and focus: Chemical and Process Technology, Food Chemistry and Technology, Energy Technology, Catalyst Technology, Vegetable and Essential Oil Technology, Natural Products and Pharmacy, Analytical Chemistry, Material Technology, Polymer Science and Environmental Science.

The similarity checker of Turnitin is used to track plagiarism in the manuscripts submitted to the JAT. In order to evaluate the papers' scholarly and scientific quality, the manuscripts are reviewed by two independent experts. The JAT editorial board evaluates each paper's submission and decides whether to accept or reject it based on peer reviewers' recommendations. The editorial board's decision is final. Papers with original research are welcomed by the JAT. Submit the manuscript right away to the Online Submission System (OJS).
