Hubungan Berat Badan Lahir Rendah dan Status Imunisasi dengan Kejadian Infeksi Saluran Pernafasan Akut pada Balita di Aceh Besar

Infeksi Saluran Pernafasan Akut (ISPA) merupakan salah satu penyebab kematian pada anak di negara sedang berkembang. ISPA ini menyebabkan 4 dari 15 juta kematian pada anak berusia di bawah 5 tahun pada setiap tahunnya. Setiap anak balita diperkirakan mengalami 3-6 episode ISPA setiap tahunnya dan proporsi kematian yang disebabkan ISPA mencakup 20-30%. Tujuan Penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan berat badan lahir rendah (BBLR) dan status imunisasi dengan kejadian infeksi saluran pernafasan akut pada balita di puskesmas Darul Imarah Aceh Besar. Penelitian bersifat analitik dengan pendekatan retrospektif.  Populasi adalah seluruh balita yang berkunjung ke Puskesmas Darul Imarah.. Analisa data menggunakan nilai odd ratio dan chi square test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan antara status imunisasi dan BBLR dengan kejadian ISPA di Aceh Besar. Diharapkan bagi pihak puskesmas, dapat menyusun program pencegahan ISPA berbasis promosi kesehatan melalui penyuluhan tentang imunisasi dan pencegahan BBLR.

Abstract

Acute Respiratory Infection is one cause of death in children in developing countries that causing 4 of the 15 million deaths in children under 5 years old every year. Every child under five is estimated to have 3-6 episodes of acute respiratory infection each year and the proportion of deaths due to acute respiratory infection covers 20-30%. The purpose of the study to determine the corelation of  low birth weight and immunization status with the incidence of acute respiratory infection in infant in Darul Imarah. The study is an analytic approach with retrospective. The population is all children under five who visited the community health centre in Darul Imarah. The data was be analized by odd ratio and chi square test. The results showed that there is corelation between immunization status and the  Low birth weight with acute respiratory infection  in Aceh Besar. Based on the results, the researcher suggested to community health center to make a preventive health education program  in immunization and low birth weight.
