Model Motif dan Intensi Berbagi Informasi Pengguna Free4talk
Abstract
Pengguna memiliki motif tertentu dalam menggunakan situs Free4talk, situs edukasi yang memungkinkan penggunanya mempelajari bahasa asing. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui model motif pengguna Free4talk dan intensi berbagi informasi pengguna Free4talk dalam proses belajar bahasa asing, dengan teori Uses and Gratification dan teori Reasoned Action. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode survei dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara daring. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan accidental sampling terhadap 204 pengguna situs Free4talk. Analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan LISREL 8.80 Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model motif pengguna situs Free4talk dan intensi berbagi informasi bagi pengguna Free4talk dalam proses belajar bahasa asing terkategori baik (Good Fit). Intensi keberlanjutan (continuance intention) penggunaan situs Free4talk dipengaruhi oleh motif perolehan kenikmatan (perceived enjoyment) dan daya tarik media (media appeal). Sedangkan intensi berbagi informasi (explicit knowledge) dipengaruhi oleh motif berbagi informasi (information sharing) dan daya tarik media (media appeal), dan intensi berbagi informasi (implicit knowledge) dipengaruhi oleh motif berbagi informasi dan intensi keberlanjutan (continuance intention) penggunaan situs Free4talk.
Users have specific motives for utilizing Free4talk, an educational platform that enables users to learn foreign languages. The objective of this research is to uncover the motivational model of Free4talk users and their intention to share information while learning a foreign language, employing the Uses and Gratification theory and the Reasoned Action theory. This study adopts a quantitative research approach with a survey method, utilizing online questionnaires for data collection. Accidental sampling was employed, targeting 204 users of Free4talk. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with LISREL 8.80 Windows. The study's findings indicate that the motivational model for Free4talk users and their intention to share information during the foreign language learning process are classified as good fit. The continuance intention of using Free4talk is influenced by motives related to perceived enjoyment and media appeal. The intention to share explicit knowledge is influenced by motives for information sharing and media appeal, while the intention to share implicit knowledge is influenced by information sharing motives and the continuance intention of using Free4talk.
