Focus and Scope

Jurnal Kelautan dan Perikanan Indonesia (JKPI) adalah jurnal berskala nasional yang mencakup kajian ilmu perikanan dan kelautan. Jurnal ini menaruh perhatian pada perikanan dan kelautan di Indonesia. Topik yang dibahas dalam jurnal mencakup aspek :

Peer Review Process

The submitted manuscripts is a scientific paper describing results of research and reviews about general aquaculture, that has not been published in national and international journal or any proceedings.

The submitted manuscripts are evaluated first by the Editorial Offices. The manuscripts which meet the compliance of guidelines will be reviewed by two peer reviewers. The review process is conducted with blind system. The manuscripts will be returned to the authors and asked to submit a revision. The final decision of accepted manuscripts is decided by editors based on assessments from reviewers.

The manuscripts are reviewed based on substance to support the quality of the manuscript. The incoming article will be checked for plagiarism before sharing with the reviewer.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Screening for Plagiarism Policy

Authors must ensure that the written works are entirely original. If the author uses another person's work and/or sentence, they must correctly use the citation or quote. Articles submitted to Jurnal Kelautan dan Perikanan Indonesia will be screened and checked for plagiarism using plagiarism detection tools, but an author should check it before submitting. Recommended plagiarism tool is Turnitin. The article indicated for plagiarism with more than 30% similarity check will be rejected for publication.
