PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN COOPERATIF INTEGRATED READING AND COMPOSITION (CIRC) DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR DAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA KELAS XI-BS 5 PADA MATERI PESAN DARI DUA BUKU FIKSI (NOVEL DAN BUKU KUMPULAN PUISI) YANG DIBACA DI SMK NEGERI 3 BANDA ACEH PADA SEMESTER GENAP TAHUN AJARAN 2017/2018

Abstract

ABSTRAK

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa dan aktivitas belajar siswa dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Cooperatif Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) pada materi pesan dari dua buku fiksi (novel dan buku kumpulan puisi) yang dibaca di kelas XI-BS 5 SMK Negeri 3 Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI-BS 5 SMK Negeri 3 Banda Aceh, yang berjumlah 27 orang siswa. Lokasi penelitian ini dilaksanakan dikelas XI-BS 5 SMK Negeri 3 Banda Aceh. Waktu penelitian ini dilakukan pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2017/2018, pada tanggal 27 Maret s/d 08 April 2017. Instrumen yang digunakan  dalam  penelitian  ini  adalah perangkat soal tes dan lembar observasi aktivitas siswa dan guru dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Cooperatif Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC). Prosedur penelitian tindakan kelas ini terdiri dari tiga siklus, setiap siklus terdiri atas empat komponen yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi.. Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpul data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan observasi (pengamatan). Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan statistik deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Cooperatif Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas XI-BS 5 pada materi pesan dari dua buku fiksi (novel dan buku kumpulan puisi) yang dibaca di SMK Negeri 3 Banda Aceh.

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to determine student learning outcomes and student learning activities with the application of cooperative learning models Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) type on message material from two fiction books (novels and collection of poetry books) read in class XI-BS 5 Vocational School Negeri 3 Banda Aceh. This study uses the Classroom Action Research method. The subjects of this study were students of class XI-BS 5 of SMK Negeri 3 Banda Aceh, which numbered 27 students. The location of this study was conducted in class XI-BS 5 of SMK Negeri 3 Banda Aceh. The time of this study was carried out in the even semester of the 2017/2018 academic year, on March 27 to April 8, 2017. The instruments used in this study were test questions and observation sheets of student and teacher activities with the implementation of cooperative learning models Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC). The procedure for classroom action research consists of three cycles, each cycle consisting of four components, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The technique used to collect data in this study is tests and observations. Data processing techniques use percentage descriptive statistics. The results of this study are the application of cooperative learning model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) type can improve student learning outcomes and learning activities of class XI-BS 5 students on message material from two fiction books (novels and collection of poetry books) read at State Vocational Schools 3 Banda Aceh.
