Peer Review Process
Articles the editors judge to have merit will be sent anonymously to referees, and authors may be asked for changes and adjustments in light of the referees' reports. All manuscripts are subject to double-blind review and will be assessed by the reviewers based on their quality. Feedback will be given to authors promptly to complete the review process within approximately 3-5 weeks. The review process will take about 2-4 months. The editor evaluates the recommendation and notifies the author of the manuscript status. The manuscript may be:
- Accepted for publication as is,
- Accepted for publication with minor changes, with no re-review necessary,
- Accepted for publication after substantial revision and additional review or,
- Rejected.
The comments of the anonymous reviewers will be forwarded to the authors, and when the authors are ready to submit their revised manuscript, read the comments of the editors and reviewers and respond to them by telling what modifications they have made in their manuscript or why they have not made the suggested changes. Revisions must be completed and submitted within two weeks after the authors receive the reviewers' comments. Late manuscripts will not be published in the coming issue but might be considered for the next issues.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Archiving

Publication Ethic
Articles published in peer-reviewed journals show the quality of the work of the authors and their institutions. Therefore, peer-reviewed journals need to have a code of ethics for all parties in the publishing process: authors, editors, reviewers, and publishers according to COPE guidelines. Jurnal Internasional Kita Kreatif promises that commercial aspects such as advertising and reprints will not influence editorial decisions. This journal is also ready to facilitate communication with other journals or publishers if needed.
Duties of the Editors
The editor of Jurnal Internasional Kita Kreatif has the authority to determine which articles are worthy of being reviewed and published. This decision must be based on the validity and significance of the work for researchers and readers. The chief editor must prevent defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism. Evaluation of manuscripts must be based on the quality of the intellectual content without discrimination on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, citizenship, or political affiliation of the authors.
Editors and staff must not divulge manuscript information to anyone other than the author, reviewer, potential reviewer, editorial adviser, and publisher. Unpublished materials must not be used for the editor's personal research without the author's written permission. Privileged information from the peer review process must be kept confidential and not used for personal gain. Editors should recuse themselves from reviewing manuscripts in which they have a potential conflict of interest. They should require all contributors to disclose potential conflicts of interest and publish corrections if conflicts become apparent after publication. Editors are required to respond promptly to ethics complaints regarding submitted manuscripts or published articles. Any reports of unethical behavior should be investigated, even if discovered many years after publication.
Duties of the Reviewers
Reviewers assist the editors in making editorial decisions and in their communications with authors. Any reviewer who feels incompetent or unable to perform a timely review should notify the editor and resign. Manuscripts received for review should be treated as confidential documents.
The review process should be objective. Personal criticism of the author is unacceptable. Reviewers should express their opinions clearly with supporting arguments. Any statement that an observation or argument had been previously reported should be accompanied by relevant citations. Reviewers should also inform the editor of any substantial similarity between the manuscript under review and any other work of which they have knowledge. Unpublished materials disclosed in a manuscript must not be used for a reviewer's personal research without the author's express written permission. Privileged information obtained from the review process must be kept confidential. Reviewers should not review manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest.
Duties of the Authors
Authors should present an accurate account of the research as well as an objective discussion of its significance. Data and citations should be presented accurately. Deliberately misleading statements constitute unethical behavior. Plagiarism in any form, ranging from claiming another person's work to copying substantial portions of the work without citing sources, is intolerable.
Authors should not publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research in more than one journal. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently is unethical. Information obtained privately as in conversations or correspondence should not be used without the express written permission of the source. Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the work.
Plagiarism
Plagiarism, according to Regulation No. 7/2010 from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Indonesia, is the deliberate or unintentional activity of obtaining or attempting to obtain credit or value from academic work without including accurate and adequate references. The Oxford American Dictionary in Clabaugh (2001) defines plagiarism as the act of taking and utilizing another person's thoughts, written work, or innovations and claiming them as one's own. According to the Merriam-Webster online dictionary, "to plagiarize" means to take and claim (another person's ideas or writing) as one's own, to use (another's work) without giving credit to the source, to commit literary theft, and to present an idea or product from an existing source as new and original. Plagiarism manifests in several forms, including (adapted from ACM with some changes):
- Verbatim copying, nearly word-for-word copying, or deliberate summarizing of portions of another author's work;
- Taking elements from another author's work, such as formulas or images that are not common knowledge, or deliberately copying or summarizing without including references;
- Direct copying from portions of another author's work, with citation but without clearly indicating which parts were quoted (such as not using quotation marks properly) and/or not accurately referencing the source.
Self-plagiarism is a related issue. Self-plagiarism is defined as "The verbatim or near-verbatim reuse of the majority of one's own copyrighted work without citing the original source." Self-plagiarism does not apply to publications based on the author's work that has previously been copyrighted (for example, published in conference proceedings) which explicitly refers to the earlier publication. Such reuse does not require quotation marks to mark the reused text but still requires citation of the source.
Each author is considered to have individual and joint responsibility for the content of articles published by International of Kita Kreatif. Thus, each author is responsible for ensuring that articles submitted to International of Kita Kreatif meet the highest ethical standards regarding plagiarism. Manuscripts submitted to International of Kita Kreatif will be checked for similarity using Turnitin. Manuscripts with a similarity index of more than 25% (including self-plagiarism) will be immediately rejected.
Consequences of Plagiarism (Adapted from ACM with Changes)
