Jurnal Teknik Sipil Universitas Syiah Kuala publishes fully open access journals, which means that all articles are available on the internet to all users immediately upon publication.

Non-commercial use and distribution in any medium is permitted, provided the author and the journal are properly credited.

Accepted papers will be online and accessible to readers openly. Readers can view abstracts (html format) and download full papers freely (pdf format).

Jurnal Teknik Sipil (Journal of Civil Engineering) with E-ISSN: 2502-5295, published by the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Syiah Kuala, was officially designated as a “Nationally Accredited Scientific Journal (Rank 3)” in December 2022.

The accreditation is valid from Volume 10 Number 2 of 2021 until Volume 15 Number 1 of 2026, which will be published in May 2026.
