ANALISIS KEEFEKTIFAN KALIMAT DALAM RUBRIK “FOKUS” MAJALAH WARTA UNSYIAH

Abstract

This research is entitled Effectiveness Analysis of Sentences in the "Fokus" Rubric of Warta Unsyiah Magazine. The formulation of the problem in this research is how the completeness of the sentence elements, the alignment of the units in the sentence, the efficiency, and the logic in the "Fokus" rubric of Warta Unsyiah magazine. This study aims to describe the completeness of sentence elements, the alignment of units in sentences, efficiency, and logic in the "Fokus" rubric of Warta Unsyiah magazine. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive types. The data in this study were ineffective sentences contained in the "Fokus" rubric of Warta Unsyiah Magazine. The data was collected by using documentation techniques in writing. Based on the results of the study, 75 ineffective sentences were found in the "Fokus" rubric of the February, June, and October 2019 edition of Warta Unsyiah Magazine. The completeness aspect of the sentence element contained 48 ineffective sentences which included 2 sentences from the subject aspect which were preceded by a preposition, 9 sentences from the obscure sentence predicate aspect, 19 sentences from the aspect of a compound sentence which is cut off, 2 sentences from the object aspect are not preceded by a preposition, 8 sentences from the aspect of removing conjunctions in clauses, and 8 sentences from aspects of expressions or unpaired conjunctions. compatible. The parallel aspect is that 8 sentences are ineffective. Based on the alignment of 5 sentences and the meaning of 3 sentences. In the aspect of effecient, there are 10 ineffective sentences covering 1 sentence with multiple subjects, 7 sentences that use superordinates in word hyponymy, 1 sentence with a synonymous form, and 1 sentence using a double plural form. The logical aspect consists of 9 sentences.
