Literasi Digital di Kalangan Mahasiswa FKIP Abulyatama: Studi Fenomenologi Penyebaran Hoaks di Media Sosial
Abstract
This study aims to determine the understanding of digital literacy among students of FKIP Abulyatama: Phenomenological studies on the spread of hoakses on social media. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The data of this study are the results of a questionnaire on understanding hoaks information for FKIP Abulytama students and the source of data related to the research subject is students who use social media in digital literacy among FKIP Abulyatama students. Data collection techniques in this study using observation techniques and questionnaires. The research data obtained will be analyzed using steps, analyzing data from references to the spread of hoaks news on social media and concluding the results of the study. Based on the results of the study, it shows that students tend to use social media such as Instagram to get the latest information. FKIP Abulytama students access the internet 2-4 hours/day. They get information from trusted sources, usually students consider the reference information obtained to be accurate. Before students read, they filter the information they get so that students are not trapped in hoaks information on sites that they get from social media. In an understanding of news that is absorbed by students on average, they are able to absorb and understand the information in a hoaks news whose events are not yet known but there has been a lot of news on social media about the incident.
