ANALISIS KESEDIAAN PENGUNJUNG UNTUK MEMBAYAR RETRIBUSI OBJEK WISATA DI KOTA BANDA ACEH

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to analyze the willingness to pay retribution of the tourism destinations in Banda Aceh. The hypothesis was tested by using the Contingent Valuation Method, logistic regression binary and multiple regression. The data used in this study are the primary data collected through the interview using a questionnaire and the secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics in Banda Aceh, the Aceh Culture and Tourism office and the Department of Culture and Tourism of Banda Aceh. The results showed that 80 percent respondents are willing to pay the retribution of tourism destinations meanwhile 20 percent are not willing to pay. The variables gender, occupation and income are significantly influence the willingness to pay retribution of the tourism destinations. While the variables of age and education did not significantly affect the willingness to pay. The value of willingness to pay retribution of the tourism destinations in Banda Aceh is Rp.32.967,5, with the value of total willingness to pay is Rp. 825.922.249,9. Its significantly affected by the variables of gender, age and education. Variables that do not significantly affect the willingness to pay are occupation and income because these variables have degrees of significant more than 5 percent. The value of the average willingness to pay can be used as a reference in determining the price of the tourism destinantion’s retribution in Banda Aceh.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesediaan pengunjung untuk membayar retribusi objek wisata di Kota Banda Aceh. Hipotesis diuji dengan menggunakan regresi logistik biner, Contingent Valuation Method (CVM), dan regresi linear berganda. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer berupa hasil wawancara menggunakan questioner dan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari kantor BPS, Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Provinsi Aceh dan Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kota Banda Aceh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan responden yang menyatakan bersedia membayar retribusi objek wisata di Banda Aceh adalah sebanyak 80 persen sedangkan yang tidak bersedia membayar sebanyak 20 persen. Nilai kesediaan responden untuk retribusi objek wisata adalah sebesar Rp.32.967,5, dengan nilai total kesediaan membayar responden sebesar Rp 825.922.249,9. Dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar α = 0,05 variabel jenis kelamin (Gend), pekerjaan (Opp)dan Variabel rata-rata pendapatan (Inc) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesediaan responden untuk membayar retribusi objek wisata. Sedangkan variabel pendidikan (Educ) berpengaruh signifikan pada taraf α = 0,1 terhadap kesediaan responden untuk membayar retribusi objek wisata. Sementara variabel usia (Age) tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kesediaan responden dalam membayar retribusi. Secara signifikan besarnya nilai kesediaan membayar responden terhadap retribusi objek wisata dipengaruhi oleh variabel jenis kelamin (gender), umur responden (age) dan pendidikan (educ). Variabel-variabel yang tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap kesediaan responden untuk membayar retribusi objek wisata adalah pekerjaan dan rata-rata pendapatan responden per bulan karena kedua variabel iini memiliki tingkat signifikansi lebih besar dari 5 persen. Besarnya nilai rataan kesediaan membayar responden dapat dijadikan acuan dalam penetapan harga retribusi objek wisata di Kota Banda Aceh.
