PENINGKATAN KUALITAS DAN PRODUKTIVITAS JAMUR TIRAM COKLAT DI UNIT USAHA ISTANA JAMUR BALAP (IJB), KECAMATAN KALIPARE, KABUPATEN MALANG

Abstract


Most of the people in Tumpakrejo Village, Kalipare District are engaged in the agricultural sector with brown oyster mushrooms as a superior commodity. One of the business units that houses mushroom farmers in the region is the Racing Mushroom Palace (IJB). The business unit produces baglogs and F0 independently. However, IJB experienced several obstacles where the baglogs produced were contaminated by 30% in each production batch.  This is due to sterilization equipment that has beennot worth it, and less aseptic breeding F0. So equipment facilitation and assistance are needed to improve the quality and productivity of baglogs. The equipment facilitated is Laminar air flow (LAF) to improve the resulting F0 culture and an autoclave to ensure that the sterilization process has been carried out in accordance with the standard. After mentoring and equipment facilitation activities, IJB experienced an increase in quality, where no one produced F1 None of the resulting ones were contaminated. Meanwhile, the baglogs produced have decreased the percentage of damage from 30% to 15%.
