SOSIALISASI PENERAPAN SISTEM JAMINAN HALAL PADA UMKM SASA FRUIT SANDO DESA BAET, KECAMATAN BAITUSSALAM, ACEH BESAR

Abstract

The Halal Guarantee System (SJH) is an integrated management system that is prepared, implemented and maintained to regulate materials, production processes, products, human resources and procedures in order to maintain the continuity of the halal production process in accordance with the halal criteria requirements in HAS23000. Whether a product is halal or not is a very important thing for the public to know. However, many people still don't know and don't even pay attention to whether the goods they consume are halal or not. MSMEs, as the business sector that has the most direct contact with the public, really need to understand the halalness of the products they sell, because of the lack of public understanding about halal. The partner who is the target of socializing the implementation of SJH in this service is the UMKM Sasa Fruit Sando which is located in Baet Village, Subusallam District, Aceh Besar with home-produced fruit sandwich products. Complaints experienced by partners regarding the halal certification process are the lack of information regarding knowledge about the system for implementing halal product guarantees and procedures for applying for halal product certification. Therefore, it is hoped that this service can help UMKM Sasa Fruit Sando to obtain information about the application of halal products. This activity is carried out in the form of socialization carried out offline. It is hoped that after this activity, partners who accompany their products can implement SJH and take care of halal certification.
