Copyright Notice

Authors who publish with Tropical Infectious and Global Health Journal (TIGH) agree to the following terms:

  1. Copyright Ownership:
Authors retain copyright and grant TIGH the right of first publication. The work is simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0) that allows others to share, copy, distribute, and transmit the work; to remix, adapt, and build upon it — provided that proper credit is given to the original authors and the journal.

  2. Author’s Rights:
Authors are permitted to distribute their published version of the article (for example, post it to an institutional repository or on their personal website) with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in TIGH. This helps foster wider dissemination and citation of their work.

  3. Publisher’s Rights:
The TIGH editorial office holds the publishing rights to distribute the published article in all formats and media while maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record. The publisher ensures that the article remains permanently available and freely accessible online for public benefit.

  4. Warranties and Responsibilities:
Authors must ensure that their manuscript is an original work that has not been previously published and is not under consideration elsewhere. It must not contain unlawful statements or infringe upon the rights of others. The authors agree to indemnify TIGH against any claims related to copyright infringement or ethical violations.

  5. Open Access Statement:
TIGH is an open-access journal, which means that all content is freely available without charge to users or their institutions. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author, in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access.
