PERTUMBUHAN DAN PEMBUNGAAN MAWAR (Rosa hybrida L.) AKIBAT KOMPOSISI KOMPOS LIMBAH BAGLOG JAMUR TIRAM SEBAGAI MEDIA TANAM DAN KONSENTRASI PACLOBUTRAZOL

Mawar adalah ratu bunga yang mempunyai daya tarik keindahan, keharuman dan bentuk bunganya, ukuran serta warna bunga yang beragam sehingga menyebabkan nilai jual mawar menjadi tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh komposisi kompos limbah baglog jamur tiram sebagai media tanam konsentrasi paclobutrazol serta interaksi antara kedua faktor tersebut terhadap pertumbuhan dan pembungaan mawar. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan 1, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Syiah Kuala dari bulan Juni sampai dengan September 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial 4 x 4 dengan 3 ulangan. Faktor yang diteliti yaitu komposisi kompos limbah baglog jamur tiram sebagai media tanam dan konsentrasi paclobutrazol. Parameter yang diamati antara lain yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, diameter batang, jumlah cabang pada umur 30, 45, 60, 75 dan 90 HST, umur hari berbunga, jumlah bunga per tanaman, diameter bunga dan jumlah mahkota bunga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pertumbuhan dan pembungaan mawar terbaik dijumpai pada media tanam tanah + kompos limbah baglog jamur tiram (1:1). Pertumbuhan dan pembungaan mawar terbaik dijumpai pada pemberian paclobutrazol dengan konsentrasi 200 ppm. Tidak terdapat interaksi antara komposisi limbah baglog jamur tiram sebagai media tanam dan konsentrasi paclobutrazol.
Growth and Flowing of Rosa (Rosa hybrida L.) Due to Composition of Compost Oyster Mushroom Waste Baglog as Planting Media and Paclobutrazol Concentration
ABSTRACT
Roses are queens of flowers that have an attractive beauty, fragrance and shape of flowers, sizes and colors of various flowers that cause the selling value of roses to be high. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the composition of baglog oyster mushroom waste compost as a growing medium for the concentration of paclobutrazol and the interaction between these two factors on the growth and flowering of roses. The study was conducted at Experimental Garden 1, Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University from June to September 2021. This study used a factorial 4 x 4 randomized block design with 3 replications. The factors studied were the composition of the oyster mushroom baglog waste compost as a growing medium and the concentration of paclobutrazol. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, number of branches at the age of 30, 45, 60, 75 and 90 DAP, age of flowering day, number of flowers per plant, flower diameter and number of flower crowns. The results showed that the best growth and flowering of roses was found in the planting media with soil + compost of oyster mushroom baglog waste (1:1). The best growth and flowering of roses was found in the administration of paclobutrazol with a concentration of 200 ppm. There was no interaction between the composition of oyster mushroom baglog waste as a growing medium and the concentration of paclobutrazol.
