EFEKTIVITAS RIZOBAKTERI PADA PERKECAMBAHAN DAN PERTUMBUHAN SERTA KETAHANAN SISTEMIK TANAMAN CABAI MERAH (Capsicum annuum L.) TERHADAP PATOGEN Colletotrichum spp
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas rizobakteri pada perkecambahan pertumbuhan dan ketahanan sistemik cabai merah terhadap patogen Colletotrichum spp. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Ilmu dan Teknologi Benih, Laboratorium Penyakit Tumbuhan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala Darussalam Banda Aceh, yang berlangsung pada Januari sampai Maret 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola non faktorial dengan 10 taraf perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan benih menggunakan rizobakteri dapat meningkatkan potensi tumbuh maksimum, daya berkecambah, keserempakan tumbuh, kecepatan tumbuh relatif, T50, tinggi tanaman 15 dan 30 HSPT, diameter pangkal batang 30 HSPT, jumlah daun 15 dan 30 HSPT, persentase kejadian penyakit dan aktivitas enzim peroksidase, serta berpengaruh nyata terhadap indeks vigor, namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman 0 HSPT, diameter pangkal batang 0 dan 15 HSPT, dan jumlah daun 0 HSPT.
Effectivity of rhizobacteria in germination growth and the systemic resistance of the red chili pepper plant (Capsicum annuum L.) againts the Colletotrichum spp. pathogen
The research aimed to find out the effectivity of rhizobacteria application in germination growth and systemic resistance of the red chili pepper againts to the Colletotrichum spp. pathogen. The research was conducted in the Laboratory of Seed Science and Technology, Laboratory of Plant Disease of the Faculty of Agriculture of Universitas Syiah Kuala, Darussalam, Banda Aceh from January to February 2021. This research used a Completely Randomised Design with a non-factorial pattern with 10 levels of treatment and 3 replications. The result shows that the seed treatment with rhizobacteria plant growth booster proves a very real significant of maximum growth potential, germination rate, growth simultaneity, relative growth speed, T50, plant height at 15 and 30 days after transplanting (DAT), stem base diameter at 30 DAT, number of leaves at 15 and 30 DAT, percentage of disease incidence and peroxidase enzyme activity, as well as has a real significant towards the Vigor Index but has no real significant towards plant height at 0 DAT, stem base diameter at 0 DAT, stem base diameter at 15 DAT, and number of leaves at 0 DAT.
