Jurnal Biolsuser is an electronic peer-reviewed and open-access journal, published by the Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences with e-ISSN: 2443-2067. Jurnal Biolesuer is published three times per year (April, August, and December), and all articles published are available online in INDONESIAN or ENGLISH.
Jurnal Bioleuser invites a diverse array of original research articles or comprehensive reviews. The scope of the journal encompasses a broad spectrum of topics within the biological sciences. This includes molecular and cellular biology, where studies may focus on understanding the mechanisms of cellular processes, gene expression, and molecular interactions.
In the field of ecology and environmental biology, the journal seeks research that examines ecosystem dynamics, species interactions, and the impact of environmental changes on biological systems. Articles that delve into evolutionary biology are also encouraged, particularly those that explore the genetic and environmental factors driving evolutionary change and adaptation.
The journal also covers research in physiology and developmental biology, inviting studies that investigate the functional mechanisms of organisms and the processes underlying growth and development. In addition, Jurnal Bioleuser is interested in research on biotechnology and applied biology, which includes studies on the development of new biotechnological tools, applications in agriculture and medicine, and the ethical implications of biotechnological advancements.
Microbiology is another key area of interest for the journal. It welcomes research that explores the diversity, physiology, and genetics of microorganisms, as well as their roles in health, disease, and the environment. Studies on microbial ecology, pathogenesis, and the development of antimicrobial strategies are particularly encouraged.
Furthermore, the journal values contributions that highlight the intersection of biology with other disciplines, such as bioinformatics, systems biology, and synthetic biology. These studies should focus on the integration of computational and experimental approaches to address complex biological questions.
Through these diverse topics, Jurnal Bioleuser aims to foster a comprehensive understanding of the biological sciences and their applications, promoting scientific innovation and collaboration across disciplines.
JURNAL BIOLEUSER employs a standard editorial and publishing process. JURNAL BIOLEUSER publishes online versions of three issues in one volume per year (April, August, and December) and always free to access, download and reuse under the License Creative Commons (CC BY).
