Jurnal Natural Welcomes Dr. Yheni Dwiningsih and Dr. Felix Rotich
Dr. Yheni Dwiningsih brings exceptional expertise in Crop, Soil and Environmental Science to our editorial team. She is a distinguished alumna of the Fulbright Presidential Ph.D Program (2015), having conducted her doctoral research at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, USA.
Dr. Dwiningsih's research focuses on molecular genetic analysis of drought resistance and productivity traits in rice genotypes, addressing critical challenges in agricultural sustainability and food security. Her work contributes significantly to understanding plant resilience mechanisms, which aligns perfectly with Jurnal Natural's commitment to publishing high-quality research in natural sciences.
Dr. Felix Rotich joins our editorial board as a respected plant pathologist from the University of Embu, Kenya, where he serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Water & Agricultural Resource Management. His specialization in plant pathology brings valuable expertise to our journal's scope.
Dr. Rotich is actively involved in developing rice varieties with durable resistance to blast disease in Africa. His research portfolio encompasses pathogen diversity studies, breeding for disease resistance, and management of various plant diseases including rice blast, bacterial wilt of potato, passionfruit woodiness disease, and anthracnose of beans. His research interests in plant pathogen characterization, disease management, and resistance breeding will strengthen our journal's coverage of agricultural and environmental sciences.
The addition of Dr. Dwiningsih and Dr. Rotich to our Editorial Board reflects Jurnal Natural's commitment to maintaining the highest standards of peer review and editorial excellence. Their combined expertise in crop science, environmental science, and plant pathology will enhance our journal's ability to evaluate and publish cutting-edge research that addresses contemporary challenges in natural sciences and agriculture.
We look forward to their valuable contributions in advancing the quality and impact of Jurnal Natural as a leading platform for natural sciences research.
