PENGARUH BEASISWA KIP-KULIAH TERHADAP MOTIVASI DAN PRESTASI BELAJAR MAHASISWA

Abstract


The aim of this research is to analyze the probability of receiving the KIP Kuliah scholarship and to determine the effect of the scholarship on student motivation and learning achievement. The research method used is a quantitative method, by analyzing the data obtained descriptively. Primary data obtained from distributing questionnaires to students of the Class of 2022, Mathematics Education study program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. The number of samples drawn in this research was 99 respondents. Apart from that, observations and interviews were also carried out to obtain valid data collection. By collecting this data, it will be possible to obtain how big the chance of passing the KIP College scholarship or not and the influence of the scholarship on student learning achievement. The results of the research show that there is an influence of the KIP Kuliah scholarship on the motivation and learning achievement of students in the Class of 2022, Mathematics Education study program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Medan State University. The magnitude of the influence of the KIP Kuliah scholarship on student learning achievement is 39.3%, while the remaining 60.7% is influenced by variables not studied.
