Gambaran Karakteristik Academic Hardiness Siswa Suku Jawa Dan Tionghoa Di Kota Medan
Abstract
Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan karakteristik academic hardiness siswa Santo Thomas Medan yang ditinjau berdasarkan perbedaan budaya Jawa dan Tionghoa. Sampel diambil dengan purposive sample yang terdiri dari mahasiswa Jawa dan Tionghoa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuisioner academic hardiness. Analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan uji t. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara karakteristik academic hardiness siswa yang berlatar belakang suku Jawa dan Tionghoa. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai dasar untuk mengembangkan program BK dalam bidang belajar siswa, terutama studi yang terkait dengan bidang layanan bimbingan dan konseling multibudaya.
