Abstract. Impaired nutritional status in cancer patients known as cancer cachexia is a serious problem. Cancer cachexia is characterized by weight loss, muscle weakness and anorexia. The incidence of cancer cachexia ranges from 40-80% in cancer patients and the cause of death in 30-50% of cancer patients. Cancer cachexia can occur at all stages of cancer patients, both at an early stage or in patients who have recovered from cancer.
