Selulitis dorsum nasi akibat komplikasi abses septum nasi dengan komorbid diabetes melitus tipe⁴
Abstract
Abstrak. Abses merupakan hasil dari penumpukan pus dalam jaringan ditubuh yang membentuk sebuah rongga. Abses septum nasi masih umum di negara-negara berkembang, komorbid yang paling umum adalah diabetes melitus dan mereka harus diperlakukan dengan cara yang berbeda. Satu kasus abses septum nasi pada penderita DM tipe 2 dilaporkan pada seorang laki-laki berumur 46 tahun yang dilakukan insisi dan drainase abses, pemberian antibiotik kombinasi, dan pengontrolan kadar glukosa darah dengan diit dan obat-obatan.Penatalaksanaan yang komprehensif pada kasus ini memberikan hasil yang baik.

Abstract. Abscesses are the result of the accumulation of pus in the tissues in the body that form a cavity. Nasal septum abscesses are still common in developing countries, the most common comorbid is diabetic mellitus and they should be treated in different ways. One case of nasal septum abscess in type 2 diabetic mellitus patient in 46 years old man was reported, and has done incision and drainage of abscess, giving of combination antibiotic, and blood glucose control with diet or medicines. Comprehensive management of this case gave good results.
