Abstract


Interaksi obat beresiko terjadi pada kelompok usia lanjut karena penggunaan jumlah obat yang banyak (polifarmasi). Resiko interaksi obat ini dapat meningkat karena perubahan anatomi dan fisiologi tubuh yang menyebabkan  penurunan fungsi dari organ yang terlibat dalam proses absorpsi, metabolisme, distribusi dan ekskresi obat. Artikel ini memaparkan beberapa interaksi obat potensial akibat penggunaan lebih dari satu obat pada saat yang bersamaan. Interaksi obat tersebut meliput penggunaan warfarin, ACE-inhibitor dan Digoksin.
