Furunkulosis pada pasien dengan diabetes melitus tipe 2

Abstract


Abstrak. Furunkulosis adalah peradangan pada folikel rambut atau kelenjar sebaseous di bawah kulit. Furunkulosis ini merupakan salah satu infeksi yang mempengaruhi kulit di berbagai area yang dapat berlangsung beberapa tahun. Dilaporkan sebuah kasus pasien laki-laki berusia 65 tahun dengan keluhan bisul pada lengan kiri atas, kepala, dan ketiak. Pada kasus ini disertai dengan penyakit penyerta Diabetes Mellitus Tipe 2. Status dermatologis di regio capitis, axilla sinistra, dan brach2 sinistra terdapat nodul eritem dengan skuama dan krusta kekuningan, berbentuk lonjong, jumlah multiple, distribusi regional. Dari hasil pewarnaan gram didapatkan positif cocci/GPC derajat 2+ dan  hasil polimorfonuklear/PMN derajat 3+. Pasien diberikan terapi coamoxyclav 625 mg 3x1 hari dan pirotop 10 gram krim dioleskan pagi dan malam. Pasien furunkulosis dengan penyakit penyerta Diabetes Mellitus Tipe 2 memerlukan terapi antibiotik yang adekuat dan mengontrol kadar gula darah.

Abstract. Furunculosis is inflammation of the hair follicles or sebaceous glands under the skin. Furunculosis is an infection that affects the skin in various areas that can last for several years. Reported a case of a male patient aged 65 years with complaints of ulcers on the left upper arm, head, and armpit. In this case accompanied by comorbidities Diabetes Mellitus Type 2. Dermatological status in the region of capitis, axilla sinistra, and left brach2 there are erythematous nodules with yellowish scales and crusts, oval in shape, multiple in number, regional distribution. From the results of gram staining, the results were positive for cocci/GPC grade 2+ and polymorphonuclear/PMN grade 3+ results. The patient was given therapy with coamoxyclav 625 mg 3x1 day and pyrotopes 10 grams of cream applied morning and night. Furunculosis patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus require adequate antibiotic therapy and control blood sugar levels.
