B-TYPE NATRIURETIC PEPTIDE (BNP) PADA LEFT VENTRICULAR SYSTOLIC DYSFUNCTION
Abstract
Abstrak. Gagal Jantung salah satu penyebab mortalitas dan morbiditas pada anak.Diagnosis gagal jantung merupakan hal yang cukup menantang karena gejala yang terjadi tidak spesifik. Echocardiography merupakan gold standard dalam diagnosis gagal jantung, akan tetapi mengingat keterbatasan keberadaannya, maka dikembangkan pemeriksaan penunjang untuk membantu dalam diagnosis gagal jantung. Saat ini pemeriksaan brain natriuretic peptide ( BNP)dinilai bermanfaat dalam membantu diagnosis gagal jantung.
Abstract. Heart Failure is one cause of mortality and morbidity in childrens heart failure.Diagnostic is quite challenging because of non-specificsymptoms that occur. Echocardiography is the gold standard in the diagnostic of heart failure, but given the limitations of its existence, the investigation was developed to assist in the diagnosis of heart failure. Currently the examination of brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) were considered useful in assisting the diagnostic of heart failure.
