Abstract


Abstrak. Konjungtivitis vernal adalah suatu keradangan bilateral konjungtiva yang berulang menurut musim, sebagai akibat reaksi hipersensitif tipe I dengan gambaran spesifik hipertropi papil di canaltarsus dan limbus. Terdapat dua tipe konjungtivitis vernal yaitu tipe palpebral dan tipe limbal.

Diagnosis ditegakkan berdasarkan anamnesa, pemeriksaan palpebra didapatkan hipertrafi papiler, cobble stone.  Konjungtiva bulbi warna kecoklatan dan kotor. Pada limbus didapatkan  Horner Trantas dots pemeriksaan laboratorium atau kerakan konjungtiva atau getah mata didapatkan sel-sel eosinofil dan eosinafil granul.

Penatalaksanaan  fase akut diberikan kortikosteroid,  pada kasus berat dapat juga diberikan anti histamin dan steroid oral.

Abstract. Vernal conjuntivitis is seasonal recurrent bilateral conjuntival inflammation due to type I hipersensitivity reaction. This inflammation obtain canal tarsus and limbus papil hypertrophy specific appearance. There are 2 types of vernal conjunctivitis, palpebral and limbal type. Diagnosis based on anamnesis, cobble stone appearance, dirty and brown bulbi conjunctival, and limbal Horner Trantas dots on physycal examination. Eosinophillic cells can be found on microscopic examination of conjunctival scapping. Corticosteroid is administered to manage acute phase. Antihistamin and oral steroid also can be administered in heavy cases.
