Abstrak. Alergi susu sapi (ASS) merupakan salah satu alergi rnakanan yang sering dijumpai pada anak dengan riwayat atopic. Pada penderita ini didapatkan kadar lgE yang tinggi sehingga dikeluarkan mediator seperti histamine dan lain-lain yang dapat menimbulkan gejala alergi. Diperlukan standar perneriksaan yang tepat meliputi anamnesa, pemeriksaan ftsik dan perneriksaan penunjang untuk mendiagnosa penyakit alergi pada anak. sehingga dapat dilakukan pencegahan (avoidance) yang tidak keliru terhadap rnakanan tersebut, yang rnerupakan tindakan mutlak dan harus dilakukan pada anak menderita alergi. Avoidance yang dilakukan sedini mungkin terhadap makanan/susu sapi dapat rnenghindarkan seorang anak untuk menderita alergi walaupun mempunyai bakat alergi. Avoidance ini merupakan dasar konseling dalam preventif allergy yang saat ini sedang digalakkan di Indonesia. (JKS 2008; 1:47-55)

Abstract. Cow milks allergy (CMA) is the harming abnormal immunity reaction that can be found in the children who got the atopic history. The high titer of IgE found in this patient. And the mediator like histamine and other kind of mediators that can induce the allergy reaction are secreted. The correct standard of examination is needed to diagnose allergy in children including anamnesis, physical examination and supportive examination. So that, we can make some dismissed avoidance to related foods and environment which included in absolute steps to the children with allergy. The earlier avoidance to related foods were basic concelling can prevent allergy in the children even though to the risked one in Indonesia. (JKS 2008; 1:47-55)
