KEMAMPUAN SISWA KELAS XI SMA NEGERI 5 LHOKSEUMAWE MENYUSUN TEKS ULASAN TERHADAP PESAN DARI BUKU KUMPULAN PUISI AKU INI BINATANG JALANG KARYA CHAIRIL ANWAR

Abstract

ABSTRAK

Penelitian yang berjudul “Kemampuan Siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 5 Lhokseumawe Menyusun Teks Ulasan terhadap Pesan dari Buku Kumpulan Puisi Aku Ini Binatang Jalang Karya Chairil Anwar” Adapun rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah kemampuan siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 5 Lhokseumawe menyusun teks ulasan terhadap pesan dari buku kumpulan  puisi “Aku Ini Binatang Jalang”  karya Chairil Anwar. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik nontes, yaitu siswa diminta menyusun teks ulasan yang sudah dipotong-potong secara acak. Analisis data dilakukan dengan melihat dari dua hasil penilaian, yaitu (1) dari hasil kerja siswa menyusun teks ulasan dan, (2) dari sikap siswa dalam menyusun teks ulasan terhadap pesan dari kumpulan buku puisi“Aku Ini Binatang Jalang” karya Chairil Anwar Nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa adalah 59,4 Dari asil penelitian nilai yang diperoleh siswa pada rentang 86>100 termasuk kategori sangat baik sebanyak 1 (3,22%) orang siswa, siswa yang memperoleh pada kategori baik 71-85 sebanyak 2 (6,45%) orang siswa, selanjutnya, siswa yang memperoleh nilai pada kategori cukup 56-70 sebanyak 16 (51,61%) orang siswa, setelah itu siswa yang memperoleh nilai pada kategori kurang 40-55 sebanyak 11 (35,48%) orang siswa, dan siswa yang memperoleh nilai pada kategori sangat kurang< 40 sebanyak 1 (3,23%) orang siswa Nilai rata-rata yang  siswa peroleh adalah 70, berarti bahwa kemampuan siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 5 Lhokseumawe menyusun teks ulasan terhadap pesan dari buku kumpulan puisi Aku Ini Binatang Jalang karya Chairil Anwar berada pada kategori cukup.

ABSTRACT

The study, entitled "The Ability of Class XI Students of Lhokseumawe 5 State High School Prepares a Text of Review on the Message from a Book of My Poetry Collection Is a Bitch Animal by Chairil Anwar". The formulation of the problem in this study is how the ability of class XI students of Lhokseumawe State High School 5 to compile a text review of the message from the book collection of poems "I am a Bitch Animal" by Chairil Anwar. The method used in this study is descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The data was collected using nontes technique, that is students were asked to compile a review text that had been cut into pieces randomly. Data analysis was done by looking at two assessment results, namely (1) from the work of students composing a review text and, (2) from the students' attitudes in compiling a review text on the message from a collection of poetry books "I am a Bitch Animal" by Chairil Anwar. The average value obtained by students is 59.4. The results showed that the values obtained by students in the range 86> 100 included in the very good category as many as 1 (3.22%) students, students who obtained in the good category 71-85 as many as 2 (6.45%) students, then , students who get grades in the sufficient category 56-70 as many as 16 (51.61%) students, after that students who get grades in the less category 40-55 as many as 11 (35.48%) students, and students who get grades in the category of very less <40 as many as 1 (3.23%) students. The average score obtained by students is 70, meaning that the ability of class XI students of SMA 5 Lhokseumawe to compile a text review of the message from the book of poetry collection I Ini Jalang Animal by Chairil Anwar is in the sufficient category.
