PROSES URBANISASI PERDESAAN DI PROVINSI ACEH
Abstract
Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah, (1) pola-pola urbanisasi (berikut ciri-ciri utamanya dan persoalan-persoalan yang ditimbulkan, apa dan bagaimana yang berkembang di Provinsi Aceh dan kedua tindakan-tindakan kebijakan dan perencanaan pembangunan apa yang dibutuhkan untuk mengantisipasi persoalan yang berkaitan dengan urbanisasi perdesaan di Provinsi Aceh. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat lima proses yang dapat dikenali dalam penelitian ini, yaitu pertama, mega urbanisasi; kedua, tingkat pertumbuhan penduduk perkotaan yang tinggi; ketiga, munculnya banyak kota-kota baru baik sebagai kota otonom maupun kota-kota kabupaten; keempat, berkembangnya proses urbanisasi perdesaan pada wilayah koridor-koridor utama di Aceh yang padat penduduk akibat semakin baiknya sarana transportasi dan komunikasi; dan kelima, berkembangnya proses migrasi dua arah, yaitu pergerakan penduduk baik dari desa ke kota maupun dari kota ke desa. Proses migrasi dua arah ini sangat intensif terjadi di wilayah-wilayah yang mengalami proses mega urbanisasi dan urbanisasi perdesaan.
