The Editorial Board of Jurnal Pendidikan Geosfer (JPG) hereby issues this official notice to inform all stakeholders that the journal has migrated its publishing and editorial management system to Open Journal Systems (OJS) version 3.

As of Volume 10 (2025), all new publications and journal operations are managed exclusively through the new OJS 3 platform, which can be accessed at: https://publications.usk.ac.id/index.php/JPG/index

For the purpose of transparency and in accordance with publication ethics, we would like to clarify that only Volume 10 Issue 1 and Volume 10 Issue 2 completed the full editorial and peer-review process within this OJS 2 platform. All stages of the editorial workflow—including submission, peer review, revision, and final editorial decision—were fully concluded on this system prior to the platform migration.

The decision to discontinue active editorial operations on OJS 2 was taken due to severe and persistent technical failures, which significantly affected system stability, accessibility, and the continuity of journal management. Consequently, the migration to OJS 3 was implemented as a necessary and responsible measure to ensure the sustainability of the journal.

In line with the principles of transparency, editorial independence, and integrity as outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the Editorial Board confirms that this platform transition does not affect the scientific integrity, peer-review standards, editorial decisions, or ethical validity of any articles published in Jurnal Pendidikan Geosfer (JPG).

We sincerely apologize once again for any inconvenience caused and thank all authors and readers for their understanding and cooperation.

Please note that this OJS 2 platform will remain accessible as a permanent archive for all journal issues published prior to Volume 10 Issue 1 (2025).
