KARAKTERISTIK MAKNA SYAIR MANOE PUCOK PADA TRADISI LISAN PERKAWINAN MASYARAKAT DESA BLANG SEUMOT NAGAN RAYA

Abstract

This study is entitled "Characteristics of the Meaning of Manoe pucok's in the Oral Tradition of Marriage in the Village Community of Blang Seumot Nagan Raya". This research was conducted to analyze the characteristics of the meaning contained in the Manoe pucok. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of the meaning of the manoe pucok in the oral tradition of marriage in the village community of Blang Seumot Nagan Raya. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method.data in this study are manoe pucok contained in the oral tradition of the Blang Seumot community, which includes lexical and structural meanings. Data were collected through several techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study conclude that there are lexical meanings and structural meanings in the Manoe pucok poetry, namely lexical meanings consisting of (1) direct meanings of 7 data, (2) figurative meanings of connotative types of 5 data, stylistic types of 3 data, types of affective as much as 2 data and idiomatic types as much as 2 data. The structural meaning is only found in the grammatical meaning, which is 1 data..
