Author Guidelines



Papers should be written either in English or Bahasa Indonesia. Papers may report results of the experiments, theoretical analysis, design, and/or innovations related to Agricultural Engineering.

Types of paper

There are three types of paper.

1. Research papers (Full length Articles)
These are the normal type of published papers and make up the main bulk of the Journal.

2. Research notes
These enable significant findings to be communicated faster, and facilitate the reporting of work not meriting a full length paper.

3. Review papers
These are intended to be in-depth studies of the state-of-the-art in the selected subject in the field of Agricultural and Biological Engineering.


Papers should be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English with following  these formats:

- Margin 3.5 (left), 2.5 (right, up and bottom).

- paper size: A4

- Font and space : Times New Roman 12 with single space, also please add a line number in whole pages.

Papers can be drafted as following:

Titles: Concise and informative. Titles are often used in information-retrieval systems. Avoid abbreviations and formula if possible

Author names and affiliations: Please clearly indicate the given name(s) and family name(s) of each author and check that all names are accurately spelled. Present the authors' affiliation addresses (where the actual work was done) below the names. Indicate all affiliations with a lower-case superscript letter immediately after the author's name and in front of the appropriate address. Provide the full postal address of each affiliation, including the country name and, if available, the e-mail address of each author.

Corresponding author: Clearly indicate who will handle correspondence at all stages of refereeing and publication, also post-publication. Ensure that the e-mail address is given and that contact details are kept up to date by the corresponding author.

Abstract : please write an abstract describing whole works with not more that 200 words.

Keywords: please list some important and relevant keywords (not more than 5 words).

Introduction: Describe and state the objectives of the work and provide an adequate background, avoiding a detailed literature survey or a summary of the results.

Materials and Methods: Provide sufficient detail to allow the work to be reproduced. Methods already published should be indicated by a reference, and only relevant modifications should be described.

Result and Discussion: This should explore the significance of the results of the work, not repeat them. A combined Results and Discussion section is often appropriate. Avoid extensive citations and discussion of published literature.

Conclusions: The main conclusions of the study may be presented in a short Conclusions section, which may stand alone or form a subsection of a Discussion or Results and Discussion section.

Acknowledgements: Collate acknowledgements in a separate section at the end of the article before the references and do not, therefore, include them on the title page, as a footnote to the title or otherwise.

References : All authors are requested to write references taken from the scientific sources (i.e. journals, proceeding and books). Merely sources cited in the text that must be written in the reference list. The authors also are recommended to cite papers derived from 5-10 years of publication. The writing style of reference should follow the format of American Psychological Association (APA 7th Edition). addition with DOI is preferable in every reference

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

    1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
    2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
    3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
    4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

Author Fees

This journal charges the following author fees.

Article Publication: 250000.00 (IDR)
If this paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publications costs.

If you do not have funds to pay such fees, you will have an opportunity to waive each fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work.
