Pengaruh Kecemasan Matematika terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Sigli
Abstract
Mathematics for students is considered scary, this can cause anxiety when students are faced with math problems. The study of math anxiety is an important factor to study. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of math anxiety on student learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 1 Sigli. The method used is quantitative with the type of correlation research. The population of this study were all students of SMP Negeri 1 Sigli and the sample was all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sigli. Sampling was carried out using a simple random sampling technique. In order to know the influence between variables, a simple linear regression analysis was carried out. The calculation results get the equation . Then do Spearman Rank correlation test to obtain . Then a two-way hypothesis test was carried out to obtain . The results of the data analysis drew a conclusion that there was an effect of math anxiety on student learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 1 Sigli.
