  • Organic Chemistry
  • Inorganic Chemistry
  • Analytical Chemistry
  • Biochemistry
  • Physical Chemistry
  • Applied Chemistry
  • Environmental Chemistry
  • Water Chemistry
  • Educational Chemistry
  • Chemistry Teaching Practices
  • Chemistry Learning Media
  • Chemistry Labwork Report
The journal provides an invigorating and informative variety of research papers that expand and deepen theoretical understanding in all areas of Chemistry. It also provides practice and policy based implications in the relevant contexts of chemistry.

Peer Review Process

The research article submitted to the journal will be multiple-blind peer-reviewed, at least by 3 (three) reviewers. The accepted manuscript will be available online following the journal peer-reviewing process.

Peer review is designed to assess the validity, quality and often the originality of articles for publication. Its ultimate purpose is to maintain the integrity of science by filtering out invalid or poor quality articles.

From a publishers perspective, peer review functions as a filter for content, directing better quality articles to better quality journals and so creating journal brands.

Running articles through the process of peer review adds value to them. For this reason publishers need to make sure that peer review is robust.

Publication Frequency

The publication schedule is June and December

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Archiving

Chimica Didactica Acta has electronic backup and preservation of access to the content of its journals via PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)

PKP has developed the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to digitally preserve OJS journals. The LOCKSS program offers decentralized and distributed preservation, seamless perpetual access, and preservation of the authentic original version of the content. The PKP PN ensures that journals that are not part of any other digital preservation service (such as CLOCKSS or Portico) can be preserved for long-term access.

Each article published by Chimica Didactica Acta is assigned by a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to provide guarantees to authors regarding long-term archiving. With the DOI, all articles in CDA will not affected by changes to the URL currently used. Moreover, this journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
