Author Guidelines

AUTHOR GUIDELINES - Jurnal Pengabdian Rekayasa dan Wirausaha (JPRW)

  1. General Instruction for Writing Articles:

    • Manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the JPRW OJS system.
    • Acceptable formats include MS Word, following the provided script template.
    • Manuscripts should not be simultaneously submitted or published elsewhere and must be free from plagiarism and self-plagiarism.
    • JPRW employs a double-blind review system.
    • Include a completed and signed consent form, downloadable here.
    • The consent form should be uploaded as a supplementary file during the submission process.
    • Ensure accurate metadata input for all authors.
  2. The Template of Manuscript:

    • Manuscripts must adhere to the writing format specified in the JPRW template, downloadable here.
    • Initial submissions should exclude author information (names, affiliations, emails, etc.).
  3. Article Processing Charge (APC):

    • The Article Processing Charge (APC) for JPRW is free of charge. There is no cost associated with the publication of accepted articles.
    • Authors are not required to pay any fees for registration, maintenance of DOI, or any other charges.
    • JPRW operates on an open-access model, allowing readers free access to the entire content of published articles.

Supplementary Files:

Authors are encouraged to upload supplementary files to enhance readers' engagement with their work. Appropriate supplementary files may include, but are not limited to:

  • Data Sets: Raw data supporting research findings.
  • Research Instruments: Tools, questionnaires, or surveys used in the research.
  • Additional Figures and Tables: Supplementary visual aids or data tables.
  • Multimedia Files: Audio or video files relevant to the research.

Note to Authors:

  • All supplementary files should be submitted through the OJS system.
  • Clearly label and provide descriptions for each supplementary file.
  • Ensure that uploaded files comply with any specified format requirements.

JPRW values the adherence of authors to these guidelines, ensuring the quality and transparency of published articles. Thank you for contributing to the advancement of knowledge in community engagement and entrepreneurship.


Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 10-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
