Penerapan Model TGT Berbasis Media Papan Musi untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Perkalian dan Pembagian Siswa Kelas II SD Negeri 27 Banda Aceh

Abstract


In essence, mathematics is abstract while elementary students scientifically think concretely. This makes learning mathematics at school very prone to difficulties so that it makes students bored and bored. One solution is to provide interesting and fun learning models and media. In addition, learning models and media must be adapted to the characteristics of the child. The purpose of this study was to determine student learning activities, student learning outcomes and student responses in the learning process through the application of the TGT model based on musi board media in learning mathematics on multiplication and division material in class II B. The research subjects were students of class II B SDN 27 Banda Aceh, totaling 29 people, consisting of 16 male students and 13 female students. This study used 3 cycles of classroom action research. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data was collected using student activity observation sheets, learning achievement tests and student response questionnaires. From the analysis results, it can be seen that the average score of the students in the first cycle was 83.44, 19 students (65.52%) completed the learning process, and 10 students (34.48%) completed the learning process. In the second cycle, the students' average grade was 85.86, with 23 students (79.32%) completing and 6 students (20.68%) completing. In cycle III the average student achievement was 91.72 and students who completed were 28 students (96.55%) and students who did not complete 1 student (3.45%). Student activity has increased from cycle I to cycle III. This can be seen from the average score in cycle I which was obtained at 3.4, in cycle II the average value was obtained at 3.7 and in cycle III it increased to 3.9. In student responses, scores of 97% were in the high category.
