Every submitted manuscript is screened by the editorial staff as an initial review. If the manuscript passes the initial review, it will be sent to a reviewer for a thorough evaluation using a double-blind review method. Based on recommendations from the reviewer, the editorial staff makes the decision to reject, require major revision, require minor revision, or to accept the manuscript. The whole review process takes up to 4 weeks.
