HUBUNGAN NILAI MORAL DAN NILAI SOSIAL KAPITAL DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR GEOGRAFI SISWA KELAS XI IPS SMA NEGERI 5 BANDA ACEH

Abstract

Education is very important for human personality. Schools are one of the forums in improving the moral values and social capital values of students who are expected to be able to improve student learning outcomes. Based on observations result at SMAN 5 Banda Aceh, there are still very many students who have not met the KKM. In addition, the phenomenon that often occurs in schools now is the lack of moral values and social capital values possessed by students. The formulation of the problem is how the relationship between moral values and social capital values with geography learning outcomes of students in class XI IPS SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh. This study aims to determine the relationship between moral values and social capital values with geography learning outcomes of XI social studies students of SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh. This research uses quantitative approach with correlation type. The population was students of Class XI IPS and 49 students as sampling using Probability Sampling. Data collection techniques are documentation and questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out by calculating multiple correlations and significance tests. The results of the double correlation calculation of 0.59 include sufficient category with a coefficient of determination of 34.81%. The significance value obtained F_hitung (3.34) > F_tabel (3.25) so that Ha is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between moral values and social capital values with geography learning outcomes of students in class XI IPS SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh.
